“Punk Poe” grew out of the three things that have followed me through life: the atmosphere of gothic classic horror movies, the attitude of classic punk rock, and the haunting genius of Edgar Allan Poe. This painting is where all those obsessions collided in the best way.
This is an original 16 x 20 oil painting, varnished and set inside an ornate carved wood frame that adds about an inch to each side, giving the piece a dramatic, old-world presence. It arrives ready to hang.
The eyes glow with motion-activated LED lights that seem to track you from across the room. There’s a simple on/off switch, and yes, the batteries are included because I’m civilized like that.
